Last version too bad !!!

There is a conflict with JetPack. If you are using jetpack protection you can’t use Stop Spammers. If you use Stop spammers, if it detects that you have jetpack protection on it will disable itself.

Please disable jetpack protection if you want to use Stop Spammers to protect your site.

If you use the emember plugin, the stop spammers plugin will disable itself due to a conflict. I can’t do anything about that.

I use JetPack, because use cross posting to FB and Twitter and some other JetPack options.

Before updates to latest 6.12 version I had not any problems with your plugin and JetPack !

Now you suggest me disable many options on sites and allow work your 6.12 version !

It’s real absurd !!!

I found on my PC backup with Version 5.9.3 and downgraded all my sites.

Your Plugin Version 5.9.3 make all things perfectly and save sites from spam, but work without any issues with JetPack.

5.9.3 has the same problem. When a legitimate user has a false positive is blocked, he gets a blank screen instead being able to leave a message to sysop or use captcha. If you don’t mind blocking legitimate users, 5.9.3 will work for you.

Your plugin old version made really nice work !
Saved my sites from real spam !

My sites has one spammer registration attempt per 1-2 minutes !
Old plugin version saved my every site from 700-1000 spammers everyday, but new version allow get access to 50-60 spammers daily.

It’s huge reason why I downgraded to old version with save good working JetPack ??

Not disable Jetpack – just jetpack protect and jetpack comment. Leave all the rest. I like jetpack and use many of its features.

I have another site, just established !
Jetpack is absent !

Uses 6.12 version with many black lists IPs and domain names.

Site work only 2 days and your plugin allowed register members with black listed domain names ??

I found that your plugin work with “Spam Words List”, but allow new registration with filled domain names in “Blocked TLDs”

I filled with:
gmail.com – new users register their account with such domain
yahoo.com – new users register accounts with such domain

Then I made experiment and added to block list .COM and sure stopped new registrations !

But I need block only few fomain names, but not main TLDs !

I know that since 6 version you rewrite code on plugin, but why old version 5.9 was great and blocked all spammers ?

Your plugin does not work properly and ignored Black lists.

Please fix these issues.

I just checked and it works OK.

If you look at a log report for your test you will see something like:

Good Cache:123.234.123.234

This means that the last time that you logged in the plugin put YOUR ip into the good cache and it never checked for a TLD because you are in the cache.

You might also see:

Allow list:

this means that you checked off the box to automatically add your IP to the allow list when you log in.

If you want to test the TLD function then you must clear the cache so that it gets a chance to check the tld. You also need to uncheck the box that automatically adds the users to the allow list when they log in and clear the allow list.

There is lots of code to prevent you from being locked out of your website and you must disable these functions if you want to be seen as a spammer.

If you get registrations in the future, go to the log report and see why they passed the check. There should be a reason for them not checking the TLD. It could could be that they are already in the cache or they have been white listed for another reason.
