Now I installed this button and I get this short code:
[wpdm_package id=23055 template=”link-template-default-wdc”]

but in older posts I have:

[wpdm_file id=73]

so now I have to change ALL older posts from:

[wpdm_file id=73 template=”link-template-default-wdc”]

or to: [wpdm_package id=23055 template=”link-template-default-wdc”] ?

you must be kidding. you are telling me that the old plugin that worked so nicely, now with just this update needs:
– one extra-plugin to select the button color,
– one extra plugin to put the download counter,
– do some kind of operation to “migrate” all the downloads otherwise I don’t see anything from the previous setup,
– update the shortcode on all the pages

I was hoping you’d fix the problem with corrupted PDF files, but it is not corrected in the latest v2.7.6. I think the problem will not be solved by asking for admin login from users. Better way is to check your DL code. As you can see, users are leaving you…

@9a2gb, Please apply the patch here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/files-currupted-on-update/#post-23330 for now. The issue is happening in a few installations, I’m checking it in details.

I agree pierinux member, I had to manually update ALL my old shortcodes!!!

This update destroyed my consideration for this plugin.

Shaon resolved issue with corrupted PDF files:

Add the following line to functions.php, just after the line #160:
“readfile($filepath); die();”

PDF file download now works fine, no more corrupted files.
