    Hi Sayan,

    I have just downloaded this plugin and it seems great, but I have just one problem – the last updated date is showing on my homepage.

    I tried disabling the ‘WP Last Modified’ under the WordPress screen options for my homepage, but this didn’t help.

    Is there any way I can stop it from showing on the homepage?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the quick response!

    Website is https://www.nutritionadvance.com

    The theme is Newspaper 9.0 by TagDiv.

    hi, let me know the page link on which you don’t want to show last modified info.

    Hi,

    It’s just the homepage I linked above.

    I only want to show the modified info on article posts/pages.

    Hi, I have tested newspaper theme with this plugin. But this problem does not happen with me. As you have already disabled Auto Insert form WordPress Page edit screen, I think you have inserted the shortcode [lmt-page-modified-info] in homepage. That’s why it returns the last modified info page. Please recheck it. Thanks.

    Hi,

    Thanks for testing.

    Unfortunately, I haven’t used the shortcode function, so it hasn’t been inserted in the homepage (or anywhere else).

    I just downloaded the plugin today, and it is only set to “show before content” on the page settings.

    The source code shows this:

    <div class=”td-main-content-wrap td-main-page-wrap td-container-wrap”>
    <div class=”tdc-content-wrap”>
    <p class=”page-last-modified”>Last Updated on <time class=”page-last-modified-td”>September 12th, 2018</time></p>

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi, I think I have to login to your site to investigate this issue.

    Great plugin, Sayan

    However I’m seeing a similar issue using the Avada Theme with the homepage set to a static page. I also didn’t use shortcode.

    In this case the last update date is set to show at the bottom of all pages.

    However it should obviously not show in the homepage.

    Example: https://www.guide-usa.dk

    Could an option to disable the plugin in specific page/post id’s be the solution?

    Thanks.

    Hi @worldviewer, please disable auto insert from the page edit screen and try to clear your website cache.
