Last updated, date format

Hi
I am in the UK, with a UK domain, but the plug in shows the date in US format, which isn’t helpful and could be considered out of date. For example, it shows “Cookie declaration last updated on 5/1/2018 by Cookiebot:” which in our date format suggests it hasn’t been checked since 5th January.
