last updated crashed my site

Same thing happened to my site.The site does not load; getting a white page. Please fix!

We already released v1.4 of our plugin which fixes this issue.

In case your site is still broken, please connect via FTP and delete the plugin folder manually which be found under the following path: /wp-content/plugins/affiliate-coupons/.

Afterward, re-install our plugin and make sure you install + active the new plugin dependency (Meta Box) as well. Now everything should work fine as before.

but where can i find the metabox plugin?

i found no link and there 33 pages of “metabox” plugins in the wordpress database.

I found it at the top of my WP plugin list after I did the update.

As hilmil said, a notice should be visible on the top including a direct link to install the plugin.

FYI: It’s only a temporary solution. We’re only working on something better.

but i dont want to install an additional plugin to get another external plugin to work.
it worked without metabox before, i dont know why now there is a dependency.

so unfortunally i will work without affiliate-coupons – to many unnknown factors for a core feature, thats too risky for me.

Actually the plugin made use of “meta box” before too but it was directly included in our plugin files. Nothing had changed. But as I said I’ll rebuild this soon too.
