The last update 3.34.4 produce an error (Site Health Check): “cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10011 milliseconds with 0 bytes received”. If the plugin MailPoet 3 is deactivated, the error does not occur!

  • Hi there @mickdom,

You’re right! The REST API doesn’t work with MP3 activated.

I’ve replicated, confirmed and reported to the developers, we’ll get this fixed ASAP.

    Appreciate your patience!

    Hi @wysija

Thanks for your quick response and help!

    Best regards

Meanwhile there was an update, but the issue is still there.

    Hi Sven74Muc,

there was no update on my website! Which version of the plugin is installed on your website (currently 3.34.4)?

    Best regards

The update came arround 12 hours ago… an I was up-to-date before
Here are the versions I have:

    MailPoet 3 (New) = 3.34.3
    MailPoet 3 Premium (New) = 3.0.61
Bounce Handler Mailpoet = 1.3.18 (Plugin not from MailPoet)

    ******************************

For me there are 2 errors with MP3. It looks like they belong together.

Here is the screenshoot I did: https://dlgo.de/mailpoet.jpg

Ok, I see we have the same issue in 3.34.3 and 3.34.4. The update with version 3.34.4 was almost 4 days ago.

    Hey @mickdom and @hatschiii,

Although you see the error message on Health Check and we were able to replicate it, this is a false positive due to some recent updates our latest releases.

The same would also be prevalent if you used another plugin which uses PHP sessions, which many plugins do.

Your site should continue functioning correctly, no need to worry about.

    Thank you!

    Hi @wysija,

    will you still fix it?

    Hi there @mickdom,

We will indeed! It’s directly related to the use of PHP sessions as mentioned above and we’re looking into replacing the usage of PHP sessions within the plugin.

    Thanks!

    Sorry, I have had a tipo… I have 3.34.4 ??

Most of what is posted above is Greek to me, but I am trying to install a social media plugin and I get this error:

We noticed that your site returns a cURL error (?Error: CURL error 28: Operation timed out after 5000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received ?). This means that it cannot send a notification to SpecificFeeds.com when a new post is published. Therefore this email-feature doesn’t work. However there are several solutions for this, please visit our FAQ to see the solutions (?Perceived bugs? => ?cURL error messages?): https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/faq

I want to be able to send out an email when a new blog entry is posted. Can anyone help? I have reached out to my server and things are ok on their end.

Any idea of the timing for the fix?

    Hi All,

The fix for this will be in our next release which if all goes to plan will be Tuesday 13th August.

    Thanks!

I have an error when I try to read my Monster Insight Analytics I receive the following error –

cURL error 7: Failed to connect to api.monsterinsights.com port 443: Connection timed out

    Any ideas?

Ok… got it… thought there would be a quick fix ??
