Last update has been a while

I was able to achieve a lot with this plugin and I like it for that.

But some slugs cannot be hidden and I wonder if it is still safe to use this plugin?
Has been a while since the plugin had some updates and there are no replies on topics in this forum from the author.

Anyone has a suggestion for a similar plugin?
