The last update is now forcing established shops to go through the complete woocommerce setup process again, and has now taken the woocommerce summary off the wordpress dashboard too, additionally it is forcing us to choose a “marketing” module before it considers the setup complete which we don’t want, can this be fixed please pretty annoying.

    **UPDATE**
After having went through to the “woocommerce” dashboard and “dismissing” and “hiding” all the annoying setup processes, it appears the front end dashboard is back to normal now, although it still has to be said for existing shops this is really annoying and it’s the first time I can remember we have had to do this, no idea why it would want to “force” established shops to go through this process, new features I can understand, but existing ones it makes no sense whatsoever.

Yes, I had this too. That seemed very unnecessary and was pretty time-consuming.
It even got stuck on shipping and marketing tools in the setup.
I am very happy with how well the plugin works, but please don’t do this again.

    Hi @jenslarsen , @marko2002!

Thanks for reporting this. We have a few other reports of users experiencing the same behaviour, however, we’re still working on finding out what may have caused it.

Rest assured that this wasn’t intentional, and only a few users have experienced it. We’re investigating this further to prevent such instances from happening again in future releases.

Went through all the steps for all of my established/existing sites, only to see a blank WooCommerce Setup widget instead of the expected behaviour where the widget should revert (or proceed; for new installs) to WooCommerce Summary widget.

    Hi there,

If you’re seeing the WooCommerce Setup widget instead of the WooCommerce Status widget.

For the status widget to be displayed, you’d have to complete the task shown in the setup widget. (You can just open and skip them): https://d.pr/ILRxqp

Once all the tasks have been completed/skipped, the status widget will show up as usual.

    I hope this helps!
