Last piece of the puzzle

  • I’ve just finished changing my site’s domain from a test one to the official one. I pointed the nameservers to the domain, changed the WP address and site address under settings. ran a search and replace on all content and fixed up any missing links, and deleted the test domain. Everything seems to work fine, all content has migrated ok, the only thing left is that the Home link on the navigation menu still links to the test domain. The main banner links ok, but the home link doesn’t. Any ideas?

    The reason I listed my process was incase anyone thinks I’ve missed out any important steps that I still need to do. If there’s anything else that would also be appreciated!

  • Here is the solution for your puzzle:

    log in to dashboard
    Click on Menus
    Now in the menu Structure created: you should find custom in the right corner.
    Click on custom
    then you need to change the url to https://www.brightonyouthcentre.org.uk/
    This is method 1 which should work if it doesn’t work we shall try the next.
