Last menu item (search) z-index problem

If I add the last menu item (search) via the Astra free theme customizer, the form expands behind the quad menu items and is not visible. Setting a higher z-index value for the search form does not work. I would like to set the item exactly as I state, not eg outside the main menu, etc. Please help. Thank you!
