• Hi, I’d like to show the last comment for a post aside my post excerpt (or content before the more tag) just it is shown on this website: https://www.gawker.com.

    Do you know how I could do that? I don’t want to use a plugin, I guess there is a function to do it ‘simply’. Thanks for your help! ??

  • I’d like to know this too. Is the $comments variable available in the usual The Loop? Or do I have to create a new query?

    Yes Pinoy.ca, I think it has to see with the $comment variable but I have no idea how to call the last comment posted on the post I’m currently reading, and put it on top of my page. And get all the other comments at the end at the post, like they usually are.

    I’m actually trying to find a solution to this also…

    As for displaying the comments on the side instead of at the bottom of the post it is totally a CSS issues that you’ll have to work with. different for every theme.
