Largest Contentful paint

  • Hi there, sorry to jump on this thread but I”m having issues with Largest Contentful Paint.
    My site is showing 5.6s via page insights, the largest element appears to be Carousel.
    Try as I might improve the site’s speed I’m finding it tough to isolate some of the back end java script run on WordPress, especially some within Jetpack, I have also tried deactivating some of the elements there too.

    Any advice on where I might improve would be much appreciated! I understand it’s a job for a developer but hard times call for personal measures±!

  • There are a lot of small issues that, when combined, delay the lcp.

    Critical CSS, sefl hosted fonts and defer JS should give you a bump

    Can you maybe suggest a way to split up jetpack.css!? slowing my site and only using a tiny part.
