I logged in to my site dashboard and there was a large ad for WPUltimaKit.

The product does not have the same name as the Hide Admin Bar Based On User Role plugin in my WordPress plugin dashboard and this made it unclear where this large ad was coming from.

This makes the ad very spammy.

Please fix this in all future releases.

I really do not like that it was unclear where the ad was coming from. There was nothing disclosing the source and I had to look at the code of the page to figure out how this ad was being injected onto my dashboard.

I don’t like ads like this on my dashboard at all. If you are going to make an offer why not put the offer on the admin screen specific to the plugin, rather than on the main WordPress dashboard?

The way it is done is very intrusive and spammy.

    Hi @thirstyjon

There is a button “Never Show This Again”, just click on it and add will be disabled permanently.

    Thank you so much.

    I clicked on that already.

But I never should have had the ad in my dashboard at all.

Especially not without a clear notice of WHERE the ad was coming from.

This is a really bad practice to spam dashboards like this.

So ditto everything I said above.
