Large Icons When Printing

    We noticed recently that when trying to print any page on our website not just the image gallery page, that it tries to print very large versions of icons after the web page. Icons like left and right arrow, a location pin, some camera’s etc. When I deactivate the meow lightbox plugin and try to print there are no icons when printing. I don’t know what version of this plugin this started but at least 1.5.4 and we are currently on version 1.5.9

    Update: It appears to only happen in Chrome. I just tried to print in fire fox and edge and there are no large icons.

    Hi Bob,

    What do you mean by “printing”? You mean printing on a printer? If yes, that is a very tricky thing to fix, as each browser does this very differently, rules are not very strict. If you really want to print what you see, it’s better to take a screenshot and print that screenshot ??

    Yes when printing out a web page on a printer. We are using your gallery and lightbox plugins on an e-commerce site and customers like to print web pages. If it was just us working on the site here then yes a screen shot would be fine. I just thought it might be indicative of something bigger that you might want to look into. We currently have the lightbox plugin deactivated but I did turn it on and print a page from our site to PDF so that you can see it.
