I have had a problem with Siteground cache growing to 7GB

This is what their support have written to me – it makes no sense to me – does it to you?

Is there anything I/we can do about it?

    Hello Andrew,

Thank you for contacting our Help Desk.

I checked the folder and most of the space grows due to the events:

    4.2M 9
    4.2M 4
    3.9M 3
    3.5M 2
1.4M 10 Here many html files are generated, probably something in the event calendar plugin: <script src="https://ebps.org.uk/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/resources/js/views/datepicker.min.js?ver=6.2.9" id="tribe-events-views-v2-datepicker-js"></script> I cna suggest you check with them if they have any suggestion on what may caused the files to be generated, you can also download and provide them with the html files: https://i.imgur.com/D9GUVHT.jpg
