Large build up of cache files

Hi Guys,
Excellent plugin!
I’m getting a large build up of cache files which is causing the VPS to run out of space, I can see that all caches are set to default 180/3600 so I’m not sure why this is happening as cache folder is now over 4 gigs but the site is less than 1gig.
Any ideas on how I can prevent this?
