• Hello
I uploaded the translation file in the language folder and the language folder of the plugin, but after the recent update, these translations are not displayed in the plugin. What is the reason?

    Hi there!

The translation now needs to compatible with JavaScript files.
I would recommend to use LocoTranslate for translations now.

    Thanks!

I don’t want to use LocoTranslate. All standard plugins are compatible with the translation file (po and mo). Please support these translations in this version as before, thank you

    Hi there!

This is official way to translate JavaScript files starting from WordPress 5.0.

New! JavaScript i18n support in WordPress 5.0

There is no issue from Better Messages side, you need to use LocoTranslate or any other tool which support it.

    Thanks!

I also have the same issue.
I installed loco. Json files are created successfully in the plugin language folder, but translation does not display.
