    Hello,

yes, it could be possible, but it’ll depend on a few things. Do you think you can post a link of your website?

If not, please specify the values of these settings:

    General > Display mode

If General > Display mode is set to Inline, also specify the value of:

General > Display mode > Style mode

And, how are you displaying the translator, as a widget or short code or PHP code.

    Thanks for the link.

You’re using the Inline style mode, and not the standard drop down. The problem with this special drop down is that it’s an IFRAME, and is not technically possible to modify its content when it’s loaded from an external domain.

If you can use either the first or the second style mode, then it’ll be possible to change the languages’ names with a script. Remember that the translator is made by Google, and it’s loaded from Google’s servers. The only thing we can do is to try to modify it after it’s loaded with a custom script.

Hiya, i have changed it to the first and second style

but for some reason it is showing all three languages as the Great Britain/English flag, however when i click on it, it does translate it to chinese.

    Whys That?!

I’ve been doing some checks, and you’re correct. There was a bug with the Chinese flags, sorry about that. We just have submitted an update, so if you uninstall the plugin and install it again, the Chinese flags will be there.

You may want to backup the settings in:

    Advanced > Import/Export > Export

I’m just checking your site, and you’re using a standard drop down now. Do you still want to change the name of the Chinese languages? If so, I can send you the instructions.

    It’s been a week already.

I’m marking the ticket as resolved now. Feel free to open it again if you need further assistance.
