    Hi,
whatever I do, either setting the default language in the plugin options to “German”, or putting the shortcode [li_profile lang=”de-DE”]. Either way, I get my profile in the wrong language (english). I found some “resolved” entries of people with the same problem, but I can’t understand the solution. Could someone please provide an understandable solution? I would be very thankful!
    Best

Hi, can you at least provide the URL to your LinkedIn profile please?
Also, if “de-DE” doesn’t work then try “de_DE” in the shortcode.

    Hi Claude
the link to my homepage-embedded profile is
    https://www.kim-bostroem.de/?p=1091
The link to my LinkedIn profile is
    https://www.linkedin.com/in/kbostroem
As you can see, my LinkedIn profile is completely in german, there is no english version (not yet). However, the embedded profile has all the titles (“Experience”, “Skills & Expertise”, …) in english.

    ok, I see the confusion.

all the titles are coming from the templates, not from LinkedIn, you either need to translate the plugin to German (and have your installation in German) or customize the templates to use only German.

if you translate the plugin then you can send me the files, I will integrate them in the release. you can also use my translation server here: https://pootle.vedovini.net/de/wp-linkedin/

Ah, I see! Thanks for the info. If I’ve got the time I’ll make the translations and send you the files.
Thanks for your prompt and helpful answers!
