language switcher on a page without translation

    Hello,
    I think mine is a dumb question but I can’t find an answer. By default the language switcher should not appear on my custom menu if I have no translation.

    BUT in my site, I get the switcher also if I don’t have a translation for the that page.

    Is there any option?
