Language switcher not working on homepage

    Hi,

    I just noticed that the language switcher on the english homepage does not take me back to the german version, but just loads the english page again.
    This used to work.
    I updated to WordPress 5.6 yesterday, may this be an issue?

    No.

    Deactivate the detection of the browser preferred language detection. Your cache plugin is not compatible with this option. Or remove the homepage from the cache if your plugin allows this. Or use another cache plugin which will be compatible. I recommend WP Rocket which officially support multilingual plugins, but W3 Total Cache the last time I tested it (although it was quite long ago).

    Great thank you! Switching off the browser detection helped!

    I will try another caching plugin to see if i can set browser detection, but thanks for the quick fix!
