Language switcher dropdown adds “#pll_switcher”

  • Dear community!

    When I add the Polylang language switcher to my main menu and display it as a dropdown (see the given link)the current language main menu entry becomes a link too and links to “https://zukunftskultur.eu/#pll_switcher“.

    Is it possible to remove/supress that link? So that the current language main menu entry only serves as a dropdown-trigger and not a link (remove the “#pll_switcher”).

    Same issue

    I have no idea what’s the purpose of “#pll_switcher” as URL of the current language.

    I even asked ChatGPT, he has no idea either..
