Language switcher doesn’t change color of the active language name

    Hi!

    I am using the language switcher at a pop up menu, showing full names of both languages I use.

    I use elementor and the theme is hello elementor ( I tried the same thing also in a clean install of wordpress with no plugins installed and had the same issue).

    The problem is that the selected language is not highlighted, while hover is working, active color is not!

    Do you have an idea what can I do to solve this problem? I have tried several things, also tried css to force active menu item to change color, but it just blinks the active color only when I press the menu item and disappears.

    Can you give us some examples of this?
    do you use the shortcode or the language switcher is actually added from the Menu? (Apperances -> Menu)?

    Also, some screenshots with what popup do you have will help us understand the issue better.
    Ideally, a loom showing us what you try to achieve would help us the best as we could “see” what you are trying to do and provide you the best solution.

    Hi, I am sending you a screenshot of the pop up menu, where as you will see in red I there are 2 active menu items. The one is (Work) is black, but the other (English) is not.

    The idea is the menu to behave like the menu of this site (It is not wordpress I know): estudio DIIR
