or is there a way to install this plugin 2 times one for French and the other for English then link the pages to the right plugin for the language?

Sorry for my late reply.
This plugin supports multi language deployments using po/ mo files.
the main thing required is a french translation of the language files:

If you translate that to french i can generate the po file and publish the french translation with the project.

With it it should switch the language from english to french and visa versa when you switch the language.
