Hi, I am testing the Free version of TranslatePress with default language English “En” and second language Arabic “Ar”. My website starts with default “Ar” using floating language selection. So when user visit my website home page “Ar” is enabled, in case the user wants “En” he/she can switches from “Ar” to “En” which works as expected with home page translates to “En”, however; when user select another web page the language switches back from “En” to “Ar” again. Then the language switching works as expected i.e. user switches between the two languages with no problems beyond initial main web page visit. By the way the opposite also true with same problem i.e. main page web page starts in “En”. Since version 2.8.3 this problem came up. I did upgrade to latest v 2.9.3 but problem persists. In my settings the “Use a subdirectory for the default language” set to “Yes” already. Please note my website is mainly optimized for mobile devices, in case you need to visit website please use a mobile instead of desktop/tablet.

    Hello,

Could you please send me a screenshot to show how the link is added to a banner? For example, the one with the lip gloss that redirects to the Lipsome shop.
If you add the relative link without including the language, does it work as expected?

Please make sure that the “Force language in custom links” option is enabled in the TranslatePress Settings under the General tab.

Is the language retained correctly if you roll back to version 2.8.3?

    Kind regards,

    Anca

Hi Anca, sorry been away and not able to continue with my support request. These are current setting of the plugin:

1- Force language in custom links” option is enabled since beginning

2- Same problem persists even when I rollback from latest 2.9.3 to 2.8.3

3- I did ask for Divi technical support and they confirmed the issue is with TranslatePress

How I can share a screenshot here ?
