Language switch links to wrong page

  • I have a problem with the Polylang language switch. All pages exist in German and in English. The page starts when called in German. If I click the language switch for english on the start page, no page will be found. The english start page should be opened here.

    In the page overview all pages have a marker for the language and one to edit or add. The German start page has only the marker for the German language and no marker to edit or add.

    I have deactivated the plugin for now.

    Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong here?

  • I have the same problem, no solution yet. Instead of linking to the linked english page it always shows all articles in english or 404 if there are no articles. I think the problem started with the wordpress update. before it worked just fine.
