    Hi!

Great theme! Can I change the language from the back end, without using a localization plug-in?

    Thanks,
    Espen.

Unfortunately I cannot translate this theme to norwegian because I badly speak english and portuguese :p

But here is a tutorial to how to do it https://www.solostream.com/blog/tutorials/translate-wordpress-theme/ you can follow step 1 and 2, it is very easy to do.

The base file can be found inside the languages folder and basically, you’ll need to open it using poEdit, translate the strings and save as norwegian inicials.

I can make this file avaliable on my next update if you want. Coo work ??

I’d appreciate if you could review my theme too ??

Ok, so I just through it in with the other language file and it works. Cool. I’ve translated about 5-6000 lines (inc WC) already, so a couple of houndred more’s no biggy.

Thanks for the support and have a nice weekend! ??

Reviewed it, translated it, and it’s working fine.

FYI: The following text under “Theme options” was not translatable:
    – Branding slider settings: “Upload Image”, “Slider x Title” and “Slider x Description”.
    – General settings: “Update Logo”-button under general settings.
    – Contact settings: the URL-dummy text ex: “www.instagram.com/username”

No biggy, though. Let me know where to upload the .mo and .po! ??

    Hi eacorneliussen,

those words not translated that you mentioned are on the input placeholders (it is a HTML attribute that allow that kind of “description words” to be shown before the users type something, if you are not aware), I probably forget to make then translatable and now you can only translate them editing the files (sorry for that). I will make them translatable on the next update and I will let you know when they will be avaliable.

If it is good for you, you can email the file to [email protected]

I’d appreciate your help, make sure to send me your name, so I can give you the credits for that. ??
