• Since WP forces user to more and more switch to Gutenberg I decided to start with my footer colums that until now have been implemented as Elementor Widgets. The were shown as legacy widgets now and I can still easily change if such a legacy widget is shown in a certain language or not.
Since I want to exchange theses legacy widgets in the footer widget area now by Gutenberg blocks I need a way to tell the blocks to only show up in certain languages. (e.g. german headline or english headline) But I can’t find a way to do this! How do you keep multi language functionality in Gutenberg blocks in widget areas? Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers, Timo

    Hello,

In Polylang 3.1, we have made sure that filtering legacy widgets in WP 5.8 is still supported as before. However, the ability to filter blocks has been added only to Polylang Pro. See also: https://polylang.pro/polylang-3-1-is-on-its-way/

So seeing that blocks are more and more shifted to be a core part of Gutenberg widgets (Legacy widgets from now on can only properly be used by the classic widget PlugIn) you were saying that WP widget support with Gutenberg will only be available in the Pro version of PolyLang? Or I might better say: there is no more usable free multi language support in WP 5.8 by PolyLang any more!?
