    It is good that the site visitor can select which language they would like the site translated to, and this is done by using the names of their languages in each language.

    However the Admin, need the list of languages from which they choose which languages will be available for translation, needs to have all names of the languages listed in the language of the Admin.

    So, it is best to have;
    1) Names of languages in “visitor” (FrontEnd) select list to be in the language of each language. (as it is presently)
    2) Names of languages in “Admin” (BackEnd) select list to be in the language of the Admin.

    Or the option can be left open for the admin to choose which way to use languages, for both the front and back ends.

    Hi,

    If you temporarily disable the “Show native language names” option you will see the languages in English or if the translation is available in the admin language. When you are done configuring the languages you can turn that option on if you wish.

    Thanks!

    Thank you for the work around.

    In the coding sense, the functionality is almost there.
    The “turn option on/off” function is present,
    but it is presently not sensitive to back/front end user.

    So you may interpret the above suggestion as;
    It would be helpful to have this very option available to control the front and back ends independently.

    Just a little more work on the coding, and saves a little extra time and effort (problem solving) for “all” the users.

    Thank You
