Hello i need to create a site that at first will open a popup with a language selector, than it opens the home with that language. How can be done, may be with a plugin?

    thanks

A simpler method would just be create a landingspage, set that to be your homepage (settings > reading) and have 2 buttons/links to the homepages in their own language. I wouldn’t bother making it a popup. You can then also add the language switcher in your menu or header/footer area.

yes this is a solution i have though too..but one thing, If i use a plugin like google translate, how do i “pass” the information?

Ah, that is a good question. I don’t use the Google Translate plugins but rather mostly Polylang. Does the plugin you use not use anything in the URL to differentiate? Like ?lang=en or anything you can use to link to?
