After installing Site Reviews into a WP website that was set to Dutch language, the plugin was in Dutch.
After changing the WP setting to English (for a reason that had nothing to do with this plugin) Site Reviews plugin changed to English as expected.
However after changing the WP language back to Dutch the plugin language still was in English.
I uninstalled the pluging and re?nstlalled it but the language still is English. I tried all possible settings for ‘Delete data on uninstall’ but the plugin keeps talking English to me.
As a last resort i manualy translated the English strings into Dutch under Settings > Strings.
Would there have been an other option that i overlooked?

Sounds like possibly a server caching issue, or something to do with a multilingual plugin you may be using.

Site Reviews only ships with an English language file. Community contributed languages are managed by WordPress, and WordPress will automatically download them if available when you change your site language. You may want to check your WordPress updates page for any language file updates.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I do not know why WordPress did not reload the dutch translation in my case then but I did solve the issue by means of the String translator (Site Reviews > Settings > Strings) within this great plugin.
