The issue we have is that on our website, there is a start page where users can select their language. Before entering the site, this option is available, so on the main page, users can choose their preferred language by clicking on the appropriate label. We would like the country code (two letters) not to be visible in the URL field. If you check our website, you will see what the problem is. Please take a look at what is written in the URL field. Once again, we don’t want the language selection code to appear in the URL… Thank you so much regards , Austeen

    Hello,

Unfortunately without the language code in the URL TranslatePress does not function. It’s required to make translations work. It’s also important for SEO, as search engines need a way to differentiate between different URL’s and their languages.

You’ll need to find a different solution then TranslatePress if you want this functionality.

    Best Regards
