    Hi!

Is there a way to force your plugin to use my local PO. and MO. files?
My WordPress is set to english (and must stay that way) but the front end seen by my visitors, in e.g. your shopping cart plugin must be in my local language (Danish).
If I switch my WP to Danish, your plugin loads of course my local language files, but I need ot to load them still even though I change the my WP backend language.

    THANKS:-)

Hi let me get this straight, you want to keep your website in English and only have the shopping cart in Danish? Is this correct?

    Exactly right.
I need to have my WP (back-end) in english but my plugins (especially yours) to show my translation front-end.

I am not sure that you can do that. However you can change some of the wording that gets displayed on the front end of the shopping cart in your language. This can be achieved through the plugin admin settings.

Let me know if that helps you.

    Hi and thanks!

Yes some front-end txt can be edited from within the plugin admin area, however e.g. when people add items to the shooping cart they see e.g.:
Item Name Quantity Price (not the Danish translation).

Why can’t the plugin pull PO. and MO. files I made in stead af pulling on the language set in WordPress back-end system?
From WP 3.7 and forth a folder has been added here:
    /wp-content/languages/plugins

If the plugin is adjusted to load language from this folder, then it would use the localized files + not loose the translations upon update (which is always causes headaches:-)

    Any ideas?

Hi jakobemils I am not sure how to go about achieving what you require. One of the plugin developers will report back and let you know if it can or not be achieved.

    Kind regards

We have added a new option in the plugin so you can store your custom language file in a folder outside the plugin’s folder. It will be available in the next version of the plugin.

Thanks! mra13! Looking forward to the new version:-)
