Language in posts problem

  • When I type in cyrillic or any other language other than english the posts dont save.. the text doesnt show at all.. as if i never added it. Its missing from the preview as well.
    I have older posts that are in cyrillic and they are fine. But i cant edit them. When I type in english and add cyrillic it gets deleted too.

    I was with the old WP and tried to upgrade it – no result.
    I cleaned my browser stuff, tried different browser, nothing. I even tried different blog, same problem.

    Any idea whats up?

    ok, on a newly installed blog it works. tried to repair the database – still nothing. changed the wp-admin folder with new files, turned off the plugins and themes, no result.

    also noticed that when I type the title in english the permalink is as I want it to be – /2015/06/testing/ but when I type it in cyrillic it becomes /?p=152

    it drives me crazy.. whole day i just cant figure it out…
