    Hi,

I have a Polish translation for Woocommerce. Everyday at a random time a duplicate Polish translation appears on its own (same translation progress, same number of strings, same filename, only difference is that the original language file is languages/loco/plugins/woocommerce-pl_PL.po, and the duplicate is languages/plugins/woocommerce-pl_PL.po), and my translations stop showing on the website. If I delete the duplicate language, the translations are showing again, but I have to do this every day.

I tried relocating the original language file to languages/plugins/woocommerce-pl_PL.po and Author location plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages/woocommerce-pl_PL.po, but in every case a duplicate appears the next day at a random time.

    I use Loco Translate 2.6.14.

    Please help. Thanks

The “duplicate” is installed by WordPress automatically, and its normal to have both. See documentation on file locations. If you don’t want this file, you’ll have to configure WordPress updates to stop installing it.

As for why the presence of the “system” file stops your translations working – This is almost guaranteed to be due to changes in WordPress 6.7 that prevent Loco Translate from loading your custom file when translations have been previously loaded before the plugin was running. @baaarcin Hey, i have a question not regarding this topic but rather the one you created around 2 years ago. I have a lot of problems after migration from hitme.pl to home.pl especially with the database version MariaDB 10.6 and MySQL 8.0 on the other side. None of them can be changed to other versions. Additionally i don’t understand how could you do this: “The default path was “//wp-content/uploads/forminator/” with double “/”, I changed it to “/wp-content…” and it worked.” when you can literally edit only the last bold folder :

    You cannot edit /wp-content/uploads.
Also after copying the database manually the migration is done and the website works but additionally to not being possible to edit forminator also i cannot edit theme main page, yet i can edit navbar and footer. After clicking save on wordpress there is no error its just not saving.

Regarding the migration to MySQL 5.7 there is no option to set this version on home.pl. Can you please give me any hints regarding this problems.
(Sorry for posting in this topic but there is no other way to message you and on separate topic you would’t answer)

@bamby4523, I didn’t update Forminator plugin since, but back then you could edit the custom path for css stylesheet in Forminator -> Settings -> Data -> File Upload Storage. Maybe in the current version you can’t.

As for home.pl, I have an idea – navbar and footer widgets are probably stored in database, while theme files are stored in ftp. I don’t remember well, but I think I had similar issue after migrating to home.pl, and the solution (sugested by home.pl support) was to create temporary folders named “TMP” in _public_html directory, WordPress root directory, wp-content/uploads etc. I would try this first.
