    Hi there,

we just updated to the newest version of the plugin. Unfortunately, it now shows the wrong language in the cart (English instead of German). Before the update, it showed the correct language/translations.

Any thought what went wrong? It seems like WooCommerce Blocks does not use the translations from Woocommerce anymore. Please advice how to proceed to get the correct language again.

    Thank you!

    Hi @psorn ????,

Could you please share what strings are now appearing in English in the cart? A link to the site to review this and then try to reproduce it on our end would be appreciated!

    Cheers

    Hi @danielinhou,

Thank you for your response! We updated the translations (WordPress dashboard) and now everything is fine.

All strings were appearing in English (e.g., “Your Cart”, “Totals”, “Shipping”, …). But it looked like the translation for these strings comes from WooCommerce directly (not from the WooCommerce Blocks plugin), right?

After the update, it seems like WooCommerce Blocks did not use the translations from WooCommerce anymore. If this happens again in the future: Is there a way to directly force or “refresh” this after the next update?

    Cheers

Hey, the recent update included changes to how language was loaded for certain parts of Cart and Checkout, previously, some strings weren’t translatable.

You can force translation updated from the dashboard like you mentioned.

I’m not sure I understand this, can you provide an example? we fallback to WooCommerce Core when a string is not available in our plugin.
