Landscape image not good for portrait slides (design 4)

Hello

I’m trying the new (awesome) design 4, and ran into this problem.

I mainly use landscape/panorama images as my featured images, and these work well for wide slides in design 4. But If I put a slide in more narrow column (or use my phone) the image doesn’t cover the whole area – because it is set to always show full width.

Do you think it is possible to have the design 4 work so the image always tries to cover the area instead of always showing max width? So when the height isn’t enough, it flips from max width to max height instead?

If this is possible, then it would work better in mobiles, and it wouldn’t matter as much if the featured image is portrait or landscape – it just works either way.
