    Hi Elisa,

I’m not quite sure I’m following here, so correct me if I’m off base.

The plugin pulls the link for the landing page from wordpress. So however you have your permalinks structured in wordpress is how the link will be displayed in the email.

Thank you Andy for your answer.
I mean in the DOIF>Download settings there is a drop down menu with the pages you can choose to set as landing page.
It’s there that I need to choose/set pages other than that showed in the drop down menu of the DOIF plugin in order to place the very first shortcode to start to set up the plugin (if I’ve got the settings instrucions right).
I’ve two kinds of url structures for pages:
    – the basic: mysite.com/page
    – the landing: mysite.com/go/landing
the system only ask me to choose among the first group but I need to use the second as I’m building the landing pages with a plugin that generates it.

My question is: there is a way to choose other landing pages than that showed in the drop down menu or to force it to read also other pages or to manually set (write) the url instead of choosing from the drop down?

Thanks in advance for any advice

    Hi Andy,
I think I got it. I’ve tried setting as landing page a test page. Then, I used the shortcode on another page and widget form. Is there a problem if I set as draft (or delete) the test page used to set the download? I’m not going to use it to show the DOIF form.
    Thank you

    Hi Andy,
I’m sorry, I’m again here, but I’m trying to get it to work.
So, everything set up, but nothing works. Of course there is something that I did wrong, but I cannot figure out what.
I set up the pages, 2, placed the shortcode, and a test file to download. After clicking on submit button nothing happens. No thank you messages, no email, no subscribers in the database (set to on).
    Thank you for any advice

You mentioned that you were selecting the Landing Page from the Options -> Settings section. If so, you are using a very old version of DOIFD. The landing page selection was moved to the upload form quite some time ago.

You also mentioned, “Database set to on”. There is nothing like that in DOIFD.

I’m a bit at a loss as to how your site is setup.

Hi Andy, I have installed the version 1.1.6 is this the latest release? I have downloaded it directly from the wordpress plugin server.

“Landing page” is another plugin by Unbound. It creates landing pages with this kind of path: mysite.com/go/pagename.
This is what I see in the admin DOIFD>Downloads:
    https://milkhoneyandrum.com/wp-content/uploads/Screenshot-2014-10-22-09.36.49.png

I’m not selecting the landing page by “Options>Settings”, I’ve said by “DOIFD>Downloads”

“no subscribers in the database (set to on)” means that I have set YES in the “DOIFD>General Settings>Add Subscribers to the WordPress User Table?” . But even if I’ve selected YES no subscribers appears in the “DOIFD>Subscribers>Subscriber list” (after testing the process: I went to the landing page, input the name and the email and click on submit button)

At the moment I have used a “test” page as landing page: https://milkhoneyandrum.com/test
uploaded a test file, and obtained the shortcode. Placed the shortcode in the landing page. The form appears correctly, but nothing is working after filling and click on submit: no thank you messages, no download, no email. Simply the system refresh the same page.

This is just what I get.

It’s the very first time It happens to me with a plugin and a developer…

It’s a pity as this is exactly the plugin I was looking for as, needing the mailchimp integration, I was evaluating to buy the pro version.

Thank you anyway for the time you gave to me.
