Landing page showing as numerical value

  • I started using a new software which tracks visitors to our website but I am not able to see the landing pages they visit and shows as “/(1)” – which is the home page but how can I get it to show me the actual name or page? Is there something I need to change in the code or security features to enable this?

  • Hey,

    Is it possible that the software is displaying the page id rather than the title?

    What does your permalink structure look like (check in Settings → Permalinks)? It seems unlikely, but if that is set to “Plain” it might affect things.

    If you can share which software you’re using it will be easier for folks to help out.

    Hi James,

    Thanks for the help. I am using Visitor Queue and it is displaying the page ID and not the URL. I had a look at the Permalinks structure and it’s set to “Custom” – what’s best to get the full name and path?
