    Hi,
    How can I remove the slider from the landing page? Even if there is a different page assigned as the landing page, it will still not go away.

    You can create a child theme and override front-page.php

    Thank You Venkat that was a real fast response.
    I already created a child theme and tried to get rid from the Front-page but I didn’t figure it out yet. so what I would like to know is how to override it.

    Copy and paste front-page.php from parent theme to child theme and then remove lines from 19 to 63. (Slider related code)

    Hi Kipas Chasanim,

    When I post a solution, I always test it and then suggest what to do.
    It works at my end. Unfortunately without seeing site and/or code, I can’t suggest anything else.

    Sorry for bothering you that much, I actually tried it again and it worked, but now the content of the static page doesn’t appear, it’s just the header and footer.

    Since child theme is new theme, you may need to save theme options again. Have you enabled content blocks in Homepage Layout Manager
    Dashboard => Theme Options => Home
