    Hey there

    Love your plugin and been using it for a very long time. Today, I just updated the plugin to its latest version. Immediately following update, all my front end forms that send email through your plugin have a huge delay in sending mail or even processing the sending.

    Meaning, when I fill out a contact form for example, I hit the “send message” button and a spinning wheel sits there for a huge amount of time and I end up having to just kill the page. However, I do end up receiving the mail within the next 5 minutes.

    Disabling the plugin, my contact forms do not experience the “spinning wheel” and my email is received instantly through my host’s third party mail servers. I do not believe this is due to my email host (Gsuite) due to the fact this has always worked right up until the update tonight. I am willing to be wrong though if you know otherwise ?? Thanks!

    Well, I feel like an idiot lol. It must be a Gsuite issue. I checked a site that I had not yet updated your plugin on , and the same weird spinning wheel delay happens on that form as well. So it is not the latest update of your plugin.

    If not a Gsuite issue, maybe an issue with the plugin recently that I haven’t bothered testing since the update prior to tonight’s?

    Closing issue. I tried alternate SMTP plugin to test and get same extreme lag. Either a Gsuite problem or something in my hosting environment. Thanks for listening ??

    Hi Mike @castroboy and thank you for keeping us posted. Felt like I was reading some TV show script, with unexpected story turns etc. Good thing you haven’t ended the season with a cliffhanger ??

    But jokes side, after reading your first post, I’ve tested the plugin on few servers I own with Gmail SMTP and haven’t experienced this issue. So probably some hikcups either with your server or Gsuite. Or both.

    Anyway, hope you have this figured out.

    Thanks for testing! I did another test this morning and it seems much better. The page doesn’t stall anymore. Could have been a temporary server issue, possibly with port 465 or something. Have a good weekend!
