Lacks heirarchical taxonomy support
-
If you plan to use this plugin to show specific widgets for different cateogires/taxonomies, you’ll the pro version to adjust the visibility on a per-term basis.
And there are a few issues with this.
1) Terms do not inherit. If you choose a top-level term to show the widget to, it will not be shown on child terms. There is no option that I can find to do this, aside from selecting all of the children manually. It’s not a checkbox list though, so you have to type each one by hand… very annoying.
2) Terms do not show their parent in the selection box. Just their name. If you have hundreds of terms (like I do), then this is a massive problem.
If there was just a little bit more support for heirarchical taxonomies, I would give this plugin (and the pro version) 5/5 stars.
