Lacking

  • Lacking in basic features such as different question formats. For example it would be useful to allow users to type their answers, when it’s numerical. I thought that would be a basic feature. I’m not even talking about matching quizzes, etc. A timer would have been nice to have, but wasn’t there. Other things that I thought were missing were a question/answer editor (esp useful for math and formatting), options to provide customized answers based on which incorrect answer was given (to explain specific error that was made), ability to provide links and embed assets like graphs, videos, etc.

    On the other hand, I thought being forced to provide names for the ranking levels was unnecessary (a little annoying), and could have been avoided by at least providing default values, if not an option to not use them at all. Another thing that should be noted is that correct answers are sent to the browser along with the questions, which makes cheating extremely easy. Just something to keep in mind, depending on what context you want to use that plugin in.

    @combulba Thank you very much for the feedback – I am extremely sorry to hear of you’re disappointment. You’ve definitely pointed out a few features that I have considered adding and that are already in the pipeline. Most importantly, you’ve highlighted a few areas where I could stand to update the plugin documentation in order to make sure that expectations are set before investing time in setup.
