My client already had Elementor Pro installed on another website, I can test there.

At first I still could not see the “WHMCS” spoiler in the Elementor form widget. And then I chanced to visit the “Installation” page of the plugin description on the WordPress Repository. Ah, there is a little bit of instructions. I would never have expected it there, as this is by convention only the description of how to install the plugin – NOT how to use it.

OK, so I added an “action after submission” of type WHMCS, then, at long last, I see the WHMCS spoiler. I created a fresh API key on WHMCS and entered the data into all of the fields of the WHMCS spoiler. Didn’t really know what was meant to happen now…

So I submitted the form from the frontend of the website. The submission was called successful by the Elementor widget, and the admin got the email from the form. And that was it. No use of the API key is noted in WHMCS.

I’m completely at a loss how this plugin should work. Not to mention what the Pro version would do more for me, as I don’t read hebrew.

The only reason I’m writing this is, because this is the ONLY WordPress plugin where you can enter WHMCS API credentials in WordPress (excepting WHMCS Bridge of course). So I have the feeling that if only I could understand it and get it working, it may be the one which does what I want – to get Product Descriptions and Prices live from WHMCS and display them in WordPress (creating a new user in WHMCS is only a nice to have for me).

It’s quite possible that my client would even pay for extensions to the plugin if it would not be too much work…

    Cheers, Tim
