Lack of compatibility with WordPress 5.5

This plugin is also causing the Media Library page in the dashboard to show NOTHING.

it looks like the plugin is abandoned. I have contacted the developer and asked if I can take over the plugin. Let see if I’ll get a response.

Here is a quick fix for the plugin:
– open wpfp.js
– Go to line 2 and replace ‘live’ with ‘on’

After that the line should looks like this:

$('.wpfp-link').on('click', function() {

Hello. Unfortunately, MANY plugins are not compatible with WordPress 5.5. This is caused by a jQuery problem BUT WordPress has an easy, albeit temporary fix: just look for a plugin called “Enable jQuery Migrate Helper” and activate it. This should solve most of the problems with broken plugins in WP 5.5 for now.

Please make sure you are using the latest version of all of your plugins, and your theme. If you are, you may want to ask the developers of the code mentioned in the warnings for an update. 

Every admin page that uses jquery will have a warning of some sort. If there were no warnings, you would not have had a problem with plugins or jquery in the first place. However, despite having a list of warnings, plugins (or at least most of them) should work now.

With latest version I’ve fixed the compatibility problem.

I have Version 2.0.3 installed is that the latest version?
It is causing major issues with the WordPress 5.5 version. My theme doesn’t work.
