Any caching plugins running on your site? Changing other settings do work?

I do have WP Super Cache, however it’s disabled for recognized users, and I’ve also tried deleting cache and disabling the plugin with no luck.

I am able to change settings in any section with the exception of the labels.

    Having the same issue.

If, possible can you disable all other plugins for a second and try again, or switch back to a default wp theme and then try it as well?

Can you list the plugins you are using?

@promotionmediaca the other plugin settings work fine as well, just no the labels?

Having the same issue. The labels won’t update.
It seems that the plugin have problems withe the WPML String translation.
If this Plugin is deactivated the labels will update correctly.

I have the same issue. I’m using Polylang plugin. When Polylang is disabled, the translated labels work, but when I enable it again they stop working and show the original labels.

I will look into this problem this week. I have an idea why it happens with WPML, but not with Polylang.

Both issues are WPML related. Polylang uses the WPML API, and therefor has the same issue.

What happens is that once a multilingual plugin like WPML / Polylang is detected, it uses the WPML API to get the label text, and not the normal WPSL labels.

When you add an English language to Polylang ( assuming your site is in English ), then you can change the label text there. If you use WPML, then you have to use the string translations to change them.

I’m aware this is not optimal, and I clearly should have shown a notifications to tell users when a plugin like WPML / Polylang is active, that you need to use the string translation to change the labels, and not the label fields on the plugin settings page.

I will make this more clearer in the 2.1 update, and see if I can make it work so that you can change the labels on the settings page, and when WPML is active, they also end up in the WPML database.

    Hi,

One of our sites is using WP store locator with polylang, but neither in Settings, nor in in Strings we can translate the labels. It doesn`t detects the translations.
