Purchased first label. Got a receipt from wordpress.

Label never popped up, showed up, or printed. No link to a .PDF label. Found the “three elipsis” and the “Reprint shipping label” button. Clicking on it brings up a dialog box, on that dialog box I click the pink “Print” button. Nothing happens and the dialog box closes.

Running WooCommerce and its stock Store Front theme and that’s it. Brand new site. How to debug and more importantly how to get this label I paid for so I can ship the customer’s product?

WooCommerce and wordpress upgraded to the latest.

Works in Microsoft Edge, doesn’t work in Chrome. Chrome never says anything about a pop-up, popups are enabled for this site, and also tried universally enabling all popups in chrome settings.

    Hi @odingalt

It seems like the problem might be related to the browser you’re using. It’s a good sign that it works in Microsoft Edge, but I understand the need to have it work in Chrome as well.

Here are a few steps to debug the issue:

    1. Clear Cache and Cookies: Start by clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. This can often resolve issues related to website functionality. You can follow our detailed guide on clearing browser cache here: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
    2. Disable Extensions: Chrome extensions can sometimes interfere with the functionality of certain websites. Try disabling them one by one to check if any of them is causing the issue.
    3. Update Browser: Ensure that you’re running the latest version of Chrome. Outdated versions may have compatibility issues with certain web features.
    4. Check JavaScript: WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin requires JavaScript to function properly. Make sure JavaScript is enabled in your Chrome settings.

If the issue persists, it would be helpful if you could provide any error messages that you see in the Chrome JavaScript console when trying to print the label. You can access this by right-clicking anywhere on the webpage, selecting “Inspect”, then going to the “Console” tab.

Additionally, the label you’ve already paid for, please don’t worry. If a label doesn’t print correctly, you can request a refund within 30 days of creating the label. Once it’s approved, you can then purchase a new label.

I hope these steps help you resolve the issue. If you’re still experiencing problems, please don’t hesitate to get back to us.

    Thanks!

So it boils down to this:

    Hi there @odingalt ??

Thank you for reaching back, elaborating further on this!

From what I gather, you are referring to the options shown in the screenshot linked here. Correct?

Furthermore, I understand you are reporting that the issue appears only with the Chrome browser, while Microsoft’s Edge functions as expected.

how to get this label I paid for so I can ship the customer’s product?

Just to clarify, were you able to get the label while using Microsoft’s Edge, or otherwise?

Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Correct, the screenshot linked is correct, using the Reprint button there. Correct, issues only occuring on Chrome browser, Edge provided the label as expected.

I opened a ticket with support. They told me to try the community. Let the running around in circles begin.

Support response was as follows (they didn’t bother to read this forum post):

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to Woo Support! I understand that you’re experiencing an issue with printing shipping labels from Google Chrome on your website. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Based on the information you provided, it seems that the issue might be specific to Google Chrome. To troubleshoot this issue, I recommend trying the following steps:

    1. Clear your browser cache and cookies: Sometimes, cached data can interfere with the printing process. Clearing your browser cache and cookies can help resolve this issue. Here’s a guide on how to clear cache and cookies in Google Chrome: Clear cache and cookies in Google Chrome.
    2. Disable browser extensions: Browser extensions can sometimes conflict with certain functionalities on websites. Try disabling any extensions you have installed in Google Chrome and see if that resolves the issue.
    3. Update Google Chrome: Make sure you’re using the latest version of Google Chrome. Outdated browser versions can sometimes cause compatibility issues. To update Google Chrome, click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the browser window, go to “Help,” and select “About Google Chrome.” If an update is available, it will be installed automatically.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, it would be helpful to provide more details about the specific error or behavior you’re encountering when trying to print shipping labels in Google Chrome. Additionally, you can reach out to the WooCommerce community on the www.remarpro.com support forum for further assistance.

I hope that helps! If you have any additional questions or my answer wasn’t helpful, please respond to this email.
