• Hi, receiving the following error after manually updating WordPress to the latest version:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_translations_for_domain() in /home/stephania/stephaniastanley.com/wp/wp-includes/l10n.php on line 174

Replaced all of the wordpress files in the wp-admin, wp-includes and overwrote necessary files in the wp-content and root folders. Still getting an error! The file it’s referencing I’ve downloaded the newest version from WP and uploaded, so I’m not sure what the issue is.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
