l cant install wordpress in my hostgator cpanel

  • l cant install wordpress from my hostgator cpanel . please help thanks..l have my domain name with someone else is that why??

  • You mean there is no one click install inside softaculous for WordPress? Then you have to contact the host support.

    In your HostGator control panel, scroll to near the bottom, Software/Services box, click on Fantastico De Luxe > click WordPress from the left panel > click New Installation from the right panel and follow the instructions.

    Select Fantastico De Luxe option control panel for wordpress. After the installation you need to login to control panel and do the update. Because Fantastico script contain older version of WP.
