?kuid= Added to URL

    We are getting ?kuid= added to EVERY link on our website (both internal and external). We worked with our hosting provider to narrow it down to the issue and it is the KCSG Kartra Page Plugin. Has anyone experienced this and does anyone have a solution? It’s causing some links to not work and we are concerned about the SEO implications of having the additional URL parameters added to the link before resolving.

    These are actually being added directly by the Kartra code, not the KCSG Kartra Pages plug-in. You’ll have the same issues even if you use the embed code directly without any plug-in. You’ll need to contact Kartra support about your issues.

    Hi, I have the same issue with kuid links and have been trying to figure out why it’s happening.
    It’s causing a lot of chaos (Google search console shows 33K!!! unindexed pages on top of my 700 indexed ones) and I’m certain it has an impact on SEO.

    I’m also using Kartra (my website is built on wordpress but I have a couple of K pages inserted and I think I’m using some plugin connecting it) so it may be related.

    Have you figured out anything new? Happy to connect and figure this out.

    Hey Tom. We are working with the support team at Kartra. It has to do with the tracking code that is utilized on their end (not specific to the plugin). No clear answer as of right now, but happy to pass along any helpful info they send out way.

    @mrewey did you ever get a resolution to this. It’s so frustrating!

    @bkatzung This code did not work for me. Appears to be on the page but not stripping the ?kuid= tracking code. URL is https://stevescottseo.com. FYI we are using and loving your KCSG Kartra Pages plugin!

    @tampaseo Unfortunately not. It has to do with how Kartra sets up tracking (unrelated to this plugin). The most we got was that it shouldn’t cause any issues with external or internal links, but we have found a few external links with issues sadly. It will appear for any pages that have Kartra <script> on the page (or header, footers or sidebars).

    @tampaseo there was an issue in the code where it might not execute at an appropriate time depending on where it was added to non-Kartra pages. This should be fixed now and it should work regardless of placement. I would appreciate it if you could try the updated pastebin code and report back.
